Work Ready Kāpiti

Work Ready Kāpiti (WRK) is a Charitable Trust that has been delivering work readiness programmes since 2017. WRK focuses on supporting rangatahi aged 15–24 across the Kāpiti district to develop the skills and confidence they need to successfully transition into the workforce.

WRK provides practical workforce opportunities and job-skill development across its core programmes, including Work Experience placements (WEX), #EmployerMeets – connecting rangatahi with employers, and its job-skill development programme, the Work Ready Kāpiti Passport.

Kāpiti Business Chamber is a proud founding partner of Work Ready Kāpiti, alongside the Kāpiti Coast District Council. As a reflection of the Chamber and WRK's shared values, vision and mission, both organisations are committed to supporting the next generation to transition successfully into the workforce and to find meaningful employment within the Kāpiti region.
