Madi brings a fresh perspective to the Chamber Board, combining Gen Z thinking with hands-on experience supporting small businesses across Kāpiti, Southeast Asia and America.

 

As Secretary, she is passionate about helping Kāpiti reach its potential as a thriving hub for business, tourism and connection.

 

Through her work in social media and communications, Madi helps businesses create genuine content that reflects their personality, builds trust and connects with the people they are here to serve.

Heather brings a strong understanding of small business life, with a particular passion for supporting one-person businesses and women in business across Kāpiti.

As Chair of the Women in Business Committee, she is focused onmeaningful connection and creating opportunities for local businesses to learn, collaborate and support one another.

Through her work with education and creative business owners, Heather also helps with the behind-the-scenes tasks that allow people to keep moving forward through challenging times.

Bede brings extensive experience and a strong local perspective to the Chamber Board as Council Advisor.

 

Having owned multiple businesses in Raumati and been heavily involved in the Kāpiti business community, he understands the realities, challenges and opportunities local businesses face.

 

Bede is a strong voice for business advocacy and is passionate about ensuring the needs of Kāpiti businesses are heard, represented and supported.
